1. Stretching

Stretching does not have a direct affect on your heart health but it can prepare for other more hectic exercises. Stretching increases musculoskeletal strength. Cardio exercises can be tricky if you are a beginner. If you take your heart rate really high, there is a chance that you might start doing more damage than good. Heart is the central organ and you cannot in any case over-work it. It is thus important to keep your pace in check. A good way to do that is to see if you are able to talk to someone while doing it. Otherwise you are pushing your heart too hard.

Running, jogging, brisk walking, swimming and cycling are all examples of intense cardiovascular exercises.


3. Strength Training

Strength training is probably the best type of exercise on this list. It not only helps with heart’s pumping capacity but also tones up the muscles. It is deemed as one of the most important exercises regarding weight loss.

Strength training is also the best way to enhance stamina. HIIT is the perfect way of practicing strength training. HIIT is a combination of intense cardio paired with strength training with small resting intervals in between. If weights are added to the HIIT cycle, the impact gets almost ten times better. Strength training is however not without the risk of injury. It is thus advisable to always do it with a trainer.
